Fibromyalgia Symptoms Identical to Other Conditions

This is Dr Licata, NUCCA chiroprator in Arcadia.  Did you know that Fibromyalgia and a condition called spinal stenosis can have almost identical symptoms.  In fact, one article in the National Fibromyalgia Association newsletter identifies 38 overlapping symptoms, including fatigue, headaches, impaired thinking, neck pain and back pain.  Unfortunately, common Fibromyalgia medications will do nothing to help symptoms caused by spinal stenosis.  It is important to first rule out other conditions before wasting valuable time and money on treatments.
